STYLING & PLACEMENT
The ivory ground keeps the room light while the rust, blue and gold bands carry the
colour, so it works in boho, southwestern, farmhouse, mid-century and Scandi-neutral
rooms. In a living room, choose a size that lets at least the front legs of your sofa
and chairs sit on the rug — 5x8 ft for a compact seating group, 8x10 ft for a full
sofa-plus-chairs layout. For a queen bed, 8x10 ft placed under the lower two-thirds
gives soft footing on three sides; 6x9 ft works for a full/double. For dining, allow
24 in beyond the table edge on all sides so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out —
a 6-seat table generally needs 8x10 ft. Runners suit hallways, kitchen galleys and
bedside strips.

CARE, VARIATION & LONGEVITY
Vacuum on low suction without a beater bar, or shake the rug out. Blot spills
immediately with a clean cloth and cold water; spot clean as needed and use a
professional rug cleaner for a full clean. Wool flatweaves shed very little compared
to pile rugs, though light initial fluff is normal. Because each rug is handwoven,
expect minor variation in size (up to about 2%) and small differences in colour depth
between pieces — these are marks of hand production, not faults. A non-slip pad is
strongly recommended: a flatweave is light and will slide or curl at the corners
without one. With a pad and rotation twice a year, expect many years of daily use.

FAQ
Will it shed? Very little. Wool flatweaves have no cut pile, so shedding is minimal
and settles after the first weeks.
Is it reversible? Yes. The construction is flat and double-sided, though the reverse
reads slightly softer in colour.
Does it come with a rug pad? No — a pad is sold separately and we recommend adding
one, since flatweaves slide on hard floors.
Is it pet and kid friendly? Yes. The low flat surface handles traffic well and there's
no pile for claws to catch, but pull, don't cut, any snagged thread.
