Description
Design & Pattern
The rug’s symmetrical layout centers around abstract geometric medallions in earthy olive and slate blue, framed by a bold rust and navy border. The stepped edges and crisp transitions between colors highlight its flatwoven construction, giving it a structured yet soft appearance. Small floral and hooked motifs scattered throughout add layers of character typical of Kilim and Anatolian designs.
Material & Craftsmanship
Expertly woven with visible weft detailing, the rug has a flat, durable texture that’s easy to maintain. The knotted fringes at both ends enhance its handcrafted charm and authenticity. Its firm weave allows for long-lasting shape retention, ideal for high-traffic spaces like living rooms or entryways.
Styling & Usage
With its mix of neutral cream tones and earthy contrasts, this rug pairs beautifully with both rustic and modern furniture. Use it to add texture and pattern to minimalist interiors, or complement warm wood and leather in boho, desert, or farmhouse spaces. Its geometric simplicity makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, or covered patios.

Questions, Answered
Everything you want to know before you buy
Handmade rugs raise real questions — about wool, shedding, sizing and shipping. Here are ours, answered plainly.
Can I order a custom size or colour?
Yes. Almost everything we make can be woven to your dimensions and palette, including round, runner and oversized pieces. Custom orders take about 4-6 weeks. Send us your measurements and a colour reference to start.
Are your rugs safe for pets and children?
Yes. Our rugs are crafted using natural wool and non-toxic dyes without chemical-backed coatings. Wool is naturally stain-resistant and flame-resistant, making it a great choice for family homes. If a loop is accidentally pulled by a pet, simply trim it carefully with scissors rather than pulling it.
Do I need a rug pad underneath it?
We highly recommend using one. A quality rug pad helps prevent slipping, protects your flooring, adds extra comfort underfoot, and extends the lifespan of your rug by reducing wear from daily foot traffic. It's especially beneficial on hardwood, tile, and other smooth surfaces.
How should I clean and care for my rug?
Vacuum weekly on a low setting. Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth — press, don't rub. For anything that has set, use a professional rug cleaner. Avoid soaking the rug, bleach, and steam cleaning.
Do wool rugs shed, and for how long?
Yes, light shedding is normal during the first few weeks. These are loose fibers left from the finishing process and will gradually reduce with regular use. Vacuum gently using a suction-only setting (without a rotating beater bar), and shedding typically settles within about a month. It is a natural characteristic of quality wool rugs.
No question matches that. Message us and we'll answer it directly.
