Size Guide by Room

Living Room

For living rooms, choose a rug large enough to fit under all front legs of your furniture. An 8x10 or 9x12 ft rug works well for most spaces.

Bedroom

In bedrooms, place the rug so it extends 18-24 inches beyond each side of the bed. A 5x8 ft rug suits smaller rooms, while 8x10 ft works for larger spaces.

Dining Room

Ensure your rug extends at least 24 inches beyond the table on all sides to accommodate chairs when pulled out. An 8x10 or 9x12 ft rug is ideal.
